Raquel Lloyd is a certified ACE professional master coach and John Maxwell Team leadership coach, speaker, and communications specialist. Her interests in these areas have allowed her to bring a more integrative approach to the services she provides to her clients, and build successful outcomes in the process.

Raquel helps teams and individuals live well and

lead well by taking intentional steps to achieve

growth in every area of their lives.  Her passion for

leading teams comes from seeing the improved

performance in groups when people understand

their individual and collective purpose, and work together, armed with new insight to achieve goals.

She has been trained by some of the best communications, service quality, and leadership organizations in the United States and Canada. She has  also received training in Applied Management

Techniques and Business Modeling for Female

Micro Business Owners; Growing Micro Business through an initiative between the  Caribbean Development Bank and a Canadian organization.

She holds a Bachelor's in Business Communication

and a Master's in Business Communication with a concentration on customer-driven organization.

She is also in the doctoral program in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in coaching, at Regent University, Virginia, USA.

Raquel is practical in her approach to training teams and her workshops are very interactive and

focus on experiential learning exercises to create greater retention and performance.

She believes that the key to a successful business

sustainability and growth is two-fold: a top-down approach, where the senior management is involved in the growth process, and empowering teams to be part of the solution

strategy.

Her passion for improving the service industry is

evident in the types of workshops and conferences

she conducts.  She also mentors start-up business owners, to help them personally navigate the next steps, and successfully lead their teams.

Raquel has written articles on topics related to leadership, communication and the service-driven organizations, and the impact of organizational behavior on company morale and dynamics. She also interviews business owners on an ongoing basis to get a sense of the issues, wins and

challenges, goals, and expectations that impact

their businesses; and she shares the information

with others in the field that they might learn from

the experiences of their peers.

Raquel is a published author of "The Identity of Purpose" which explores how those who come to know Christ will be able to discover His plan for their lives.  Her book is available on Amazon.

Raquel currently calls Cayman home. She and her husband have been married for over twenty years, and they have an amazing son.  She enjoys being

an independent consultant because it gives her

freedom to enjoy motherhood with greater flexibility.

Her Christian faith is central in her life --she is active in ministry, particularly empowering women.

Raquel believes that great leadership is found in taking intentional steps to connect with others to help them grow, and the example has to start with the leader first.
